As usual every time when i come back to Malacca,i have to
go this Tan Kim Hock to buy Chili Sauce for my colleague and
my mum always wonder what so nice about that chill sauce.

Opposite Tan Kim Hock there is this CIMB bank where i normally
will 'visit' as well,this is the only bank i can say it don't look like a bank...
It was like a Baba Nyonya house...

Today,there is a change to the bank....I was like,huh....OldTown in a bank???
As i went in,wow...is was actually more like a Oldtown then to a bank to me..
I am not sure whether i can found one in KL,but this is first to me.
As you do any transaction at the ATM,there is someone next to you enjoying
their Oldtown White coffee.

Hahahaa.......wonder....
Is it safe to drink in a bank???
or Is the bank safe to have we all dine in??
Will it be that "sueh" if you are yamcha-ing then there is this

Renewing a Malaysian Passport

Just before i come back Malacca,a friend called to ask for my passport

number for booking air ticket purpose,i told her

i haven't renew my passport and was going back to Malacca.

she asked me to renew it at Malacca,

was easy and fast.

I was thinking,well doing passport should be

fast now as there is the machine

renewal,that i heard will be done in 2 hour.

I went to to Immigration Department’s website

to look for a guide in renewing my passport, but I couldn’t find any.So,i decided to go the Malacca Immigration Department with my brother at around 10am.

Was surprise to find out,there was no machine renewal there

and they were still putting Pak Lah

picture in their office..

Hahaha..

Hope they know their boss now was

Hishammuddin Hussein and not Syed Hamid.

Anyway......As usual,line up to buy forms(why we need to by form??Not FOC),fill in the forms,go and take passport size pic,ya...you don't waste money and time go to some photo shop and take

your passport size pic as they will reject..hehehhe...

then line up again to get number for application,

then wait to pay..

After paid,the friendly officer told me will be

ready at 1240pm,means gonna wait 2 hours.

Ok lor....Go yam cha with my brother...Play psp....

Then suddenly someone called me

'Cik,nak angkat passport ker??Dah siap,

gi angkat nombor'

I reply 'nak angkat nombor lagi??'

I go get a number,pass it to her and she give my new passport...which i just

know the passport number is not same with the old one.

Point is...Is only 1215pm.

Well,guess without machine renewal...

Lee Hom - The Music Man

Last Saturday i was assign to Lee Hom's Music Man Live in KL.

Before the concert start,we was told that we can allow to take only

first four song of the song,the rest of it we can sit back and relax and watch the concert.

So i thought,after the first four song i can leave,but there are some other

press wish to stay till the concert end..

Being afraid of being scoop,i decided to stay and 'accompany'

them to watch the concert..

and i ended up fall asleep..opps...

did i say something wrong??

I fall asleep...

Till almost end of the concert,i ask some friend from the media..

We left after the first encore song,ok??

yeah...they agree...i was like great..

I can finally go back....

Tatt Khalsa Diwan Selangor at Jalan Raja Alang today

to celebrate Sikh community's Vaisakhi (New Year).

He arrived at 930am greeted by at least one thousand crowd.
He enjoyed Sikh traditional food such as prata,
pakoda and barfi (sweets) as breakfast.

Although Sikh community was relatively small,
in the region of 100,000 people,
they had served the country well.

Tun walk down the very steps that five years earlier he had walked on to send off his predecessor Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad,which i was lucky enough to 'witness' as well.

16/3 Puchong MP Gobind suspended from

Parliament for one year from Monday for alleging

that DPM Najib was involved in a murder case/STAR.

On Thursday, Gobind was asked to leave the House by Deputy Speaker Datuk Ronald Kiandee after he shouted: “Answer me, you murderer!” to Najib as the latter was leaving the House.

The Dewan Rakyat today suspended DAP’s Gobind Singh Deo for one year for calling Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak a murderer and insulting the House Deputy Speaker last week.

In this case,Pakatan Rakyat reduce one MP in Parliament and maybe will see him more in

I watched Slumdog Millionaire the other day,

a movie that i never know before the Academy Award.
Since everyone was talking about it,i decided to watch.
After all,

Slumdog Millionaire was nominated for

10 Academy Awards and won eight.

It was a great movie.

Jamal,a young man from the slums of Mumbai who appears on the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?Jamal has made it to the final question, scheduled for the next day, but the police are now accusing him of cheating, because the other possibilities, that he has a vast knowledge, or that he is very lucky, both seem unlikely.Jamal knew the answers of most questions by chance, because of things that happened in his life.

And the main reason he actually join the games show,is not because of money........

What actually amused me was the ending of the movie,

The oldest, smallest house you can imagine was about to be knocked down. All the things that once made the house nice and cosy had been thrown outside and piled up in the front garden, from the soft springy bed the owners slept in, to the old wooden floorboards they used to walk on …and even, surely by some mistake, a little brown teddy bear.

He was trapped amongst all the other unwanted things, and couldn't move. Then, one day…a very cold day, something fell from the sky… …a little snowflake It landed on the teddy bear's little nose and then was followed by many more. He began to get cold, very cold indeed. More and more snow fell, heavier and heavier. The little bear was now so cold that his nose started turning blue…so cold that his brown fur started turning grey.

He was cold, unloved and all alone in the world, and felt very, very sad. Winter finally passed and the weather got warmer. One beautiful spring day, a little girl was playing near the old house, when she spotted the grey bear in the pile of unwanted things. He was like no other bear she had ever seen and she pulled him out from where he was trapped. She dusted him down and lifted him high in the sky to look at him.
"A grey teddy bear…with a blue nose?" she thought. "How strange!" The teddy bear wanted to cry. He thought she didn't like him and would throw him back with the other unwanted things. "But he's lovely!" she continued and she fell completely in love with him.

She ran home as fast as her little legs would carry her, to see if her Grandma could patch him up as a lot of his stuffing had fallen out, and he was very much in need of repair. She looked on as her Grandma replaced his stuffing and patched up his holes. His stitches had started showing where the fur had worn away, but the little girl thought he looked perfect. It was all cosy and warm in the little girl's house and the bear felt all cosy and warm in his heart. However, his nose was still blue and his fur was still grey, and they would never return to brown. He was unique among teddy bears. The little girl gave him a great big hug. She loved him more than anything else in the world…her little grey, blue-nosed…

As people always said,Chinese new Year have to go Malacca.

Very nice..Lot of CNY feels there...

And of course veri jam here as well.

Being a Malaccaan,i didn't really understand why so many people like to go Jonker Street.

Line up to eat the chicken rice ball,line up to buy souvenir..

which i think is much more expensive.

But,ever since i work in KL,every CNY is either i come back early for CNY or

maybe after the 3rd or 4th of CNY.But i will never miss to at least,

walk around the Jonker Street alone,

see the decoration...

see people busy buying souvenir,

see people busy taking pic.

This year,

if not because i want to go

Jonker Street to buy something very important,

i almost miss the Ox decoration.

Is too hot in Malacca this year.

Well,still many people on the street,

although the sun was damn hot.

Beside kiasu,Malacca is has been listed as a prominent

World Heritage Site of UNESCO since 7th July 2008.

but Puchong residents will be delighted ,
during this coming New Year as the Police will petrol to their home
when they are not around.

What you have to do is only go to the nearest Police station,
submit a form to the Police to noticed them you are not around,
then Police will arrange for their mobile patrols to visit your
home during the period that you are away from home.
Beside that,The Police Patrol Team will leave a “Borang Lawatan”
into your letterbox each time they visit your house.

The traffic department (JPJ) has recently started a campaign to be rid of corruption. Every Officer on duty will be rewarded with RM100.00 if they report each case of bribery to the department.

This is how they do (trick you into) it. They will note down the details of your IC/MyKad, and ask you how you want to settle ( 'Macam mana nak > > selesai?')

If you indicate yes or even offer to give them any money, they will report the incident by rejecting your 'Kopi Money' and get the RM100.00 instead as an incentive for their integrity and 'Honest' pubicity.

This means that You will end up having a summon issued to you and perhaps a charge for bribery.

SO DON'T PAY DUIT KOPI AGAIN, especially if you hope to go free with a lesser amount of money compared to the fine. Even if you want to pay over RM200, the JPJ Officers would rather have a 'good' name than to take your kopi money.

Just beware of their trick because the cops are now accumulating 'cookies' points for their promotion and pay increment - with your help if possible.

They should have done this to stop corruption long time ago...

Dr Yap Sin Tian ,Dong Zong (the United Chinese School Committees Association of Malaysia) president was giving a speech when a young guy going up calmly to the stage

and give him a punch last Sunday during New Era College convocation.

He failed to avoid because he thought the young man was trying to adjust the mike

for the rain,

it was not her fault.

Because right after she thanks god for

not raining,

the rain comes.

Although it was a heavy rain in the afternoon,

Padang Timur Petaling Jaya

still pack with people at around 745pm.

i must said the singer must be grateful to those fans

who make the effort to be at the there

as the field was a bit flood and the mud are terrible...

I saw some people remove their shoes

to go in the field just to watch their idol...

Huh...round of applause to them,

becausei was them i might as well stay

at home watch live tele-cast.

Beside Janice,the concert’s top draws are Wakin Chow,

Giving out name card is actually a normal thing to do

especially in this line i am working at..

Often when we went for assignment,the pr company always like to

request name card from us....

Some of course for the purpose of lucky draw(haha)

And sometime we also gave out to some newcomer from the

media line.Few month back,i remember getting a name card from

a well known Chinese newspaper reporter.

As it was the 1st time i meet her,she gave me her name card...

To my surprise her name card stated "reporter(Fukan)",

wonder what is 'fukan'?

It was actually means feature,that girl was under feature desk.

Huh....

I don't mean to be rude,but why can't they just write

Feature desk instead of "fukan" which actually can let other people

who receive that name card will think that their English was terrible.

A Raining Hari Raya Haji

Hari Raya Haji or we called it Hari Raya Korban in Malaysia

is a Festival of Sacrifice is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims.

But this year,it might means more to the residents of Bukit Antarabangsa

as they 'sacrifice' and lost almost everything they had to the landslide.

It start to rains since early morning,which has made the temporary

access bridge built on Saturday unusable.

As a result, Tenaga Nasional Bhd generator

trailers are unable to get in to provide power supply.

Still,many residents wish to go in to their homes to take back their

belonging before it "dikorbankan" by people.

Is this tragedy really the wish of the God

or the greediness of the human being?

Hoping that God will stop the rain soon......

Nope...
It was not hurricane,it was not a typhoon as well.
It was a landslide,a terrible
landslide that happened at
Bukit Antarabangsa which claims 4 lives
and destroy almost 14 bungalows.

Guess many Malaysian will remember this place,
as 14 years ago the Highland Towers tragedy that took away
48 lives,or maybe 6 years ago a bungalow at Taman Hillview
killed 8 people.

When i heard a familiar ring tone near me,
i was still wondering is it my phone?
Still thinking am i that unlucky to have a case again???
As i sleep at 3am++ after finished a case at Puchong.

Dang.......Ya...It was my phone,when i heard my colleague
said that was a landslide at Bukit Antarabngsa,killed a lot people.
When i completely wake up,i was like Huh...630am,but why me???
Haiz....

When i reached Bukit Antarabangsa it was a messed...
There was a lot place where the police not allowed us to go.
But of course i can't tell my boss the police don't let me go in
and i got no pic...
Then i will end up losing my job.

So....Work smart...hahahaha.

Till now,the rescue operations still on going.
My condolences goes to those people who lost their family,
and everything they own in the tragedy.

to watch the Singapore F1 Grand Prix,

the first night race in Formula One history.

I didn't even watch Malaysia F1 Grand Prix at all.

haha..unbelievable.

because they didn't apply any permit for this

As the concert theme was the same as last year,

so most of the part is just a recall memories to me.

Except a new song,where she mention it was

the song for her latest movie,Lady Cop & Papa Crook.

That is why it was called "Show Mi Again".

Huh,i even saw a uncle sleep during the concert.

I was not disappointed-ler,at least i managed

to see Sammi mah..

BEWARE:Just a piece of PAPER

A foward mail i receive,just a reminder to everyone:

WARNING FROM POLICE BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE - NEW WAY TO DO CAR-JACKINGS (NOT A JOKE)You walk across the car parking, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into Reverse. When you look into the rear view mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into neutral, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the carjackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car. And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!

BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT'S NOW BEING USED.
If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this e-mail. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands.
